(Atlantic) During the public comment section of Wednesday’s Atlantic School Board Meeting, Justin Williams addressed a petition he filed in regards to the issuance of sales tax bonds to fund the construction of a multipurpose practice facility/field house.
Williams said the petition contained 500 signatures of eligible electors.
Williams said another school district that went through this was in Waterloo.
There were no comments from the Board regarding the petition.

The September Board Work Session will be held September 24 at 6:30 p.m. and will include a Town Hall Meeting regarding the GO Bond for school improvements that will appear on the November election ballot.
