On the women’s side four local runners are running for the Bearcats: Freshman Taylor Rodgers from Earlham, Freshman Ava Campbell from AC/GC, Junior Mayson Hartley from Clarinda and Senior Taylor McCreedy from Atlantic. Northwest is picked to finished tied for 4th in the Mid America Conference.

The Northwest Missouri State University men’s and women’s cross-country teams are set to begin their seasons at the Platte River Rumble “Gold” meet in Ashland, Neb. on Friday, Sept. 5.
The Bearcats women’s race is set to start at 6:00 p.m. and the men’s race is set to follow at 6:45 p.m.
The Platte River Rumble races will include teams from: Creighton, Highland CC, Indian Hills CC, Iowa Western, Kansas State, Missouri Western, Nebraska, Nebraska-Kearney, Omaha, South Dakota, Southeast CC, and Northwest Missouri State
