(Guthrie Co.) A Linden man has died following a motorcycle accident in Guthrie County last week.
The accident happened at around 7:02 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27th. According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, 59-year-old Brian Patrick Brady was driving a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on 310th Street when the motorcycle entered the north ditch. Brady was ejected from the motorcycle and transported by Stuart EMS to Methodist Main in Des Moines, where he later died from his injuries.
A witness traveling west on 310th Street told authorities they saw the motorcycle cross into their lane as it entered a curve. The witness said they swerved into the opposite lane to avoid a head-on collision. Moments later, the motorcycle began to wobble before leaving the roadway and entering the ditch.
The witness immediately turned around to locate the driver.
