(Atlantic) A semi driver suffered injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 in Cass County.
Cass County Sheriff John Westering tells KSOM/KS95 News that the accident occurred at approximately 6:59 a.m. today in the westbound lanes of Interstate 80, near the 56.5-mile marker.
The semi driver lost control, entered the median, slid between two bridges, and came to rest in a shallow creek.
The driver, whose name was not released, was taken by EMS to the Cass County Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the accident.
