(Atlantic) Jeremy Butler has officially filed papers to run for an At-Large seat on the Atlantic City Council.
Butler has long been active in the community, serving as past president of the Atlantic Jaycees and as both president and council member at the Atlantic United Church of Christ. He also co-chaired the fundraising committee for the Splash Pad project.
Butler says his thought process has always been to give back to the community that has blessed him. Butler, who has held numerous leadership roles, believes that leadership is about empowering people.
Butler says currently there is a lot of momentum going on in Atlantic, which he has not seen in his lifetime.
A lifelong resident of Atlantic—aside from his college years—Butler and his wife, Billie, raised their two children here. He owns his own business and also writes insurance through Brocker Karns & Karns in Atlantic.
