(Kansas City, MO) — For the third time in their history, Nebraska will play a game in Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium as they “host” Cincinnati. Technically its a home game for the Bearcats but Husker fans will attempt to prevent that from happening. Nebraska Head Coach Matt Rhule says it does not even feel like a neutral sight game
Cincinnati went 5-7 last season in the Big 12 but lost their last five games to keep them out of a bowl game. Junior Brendan Sorsby is at quarterback who played previously at Indiana and started 7 games in 2023 — last year he started all 12 games for the Bearcats and threw for 2,813 yards and 18 TD and ran for 447 yards.
Its not a cupcake opener for the Huskers and Rhule likes that and he expects the team will handle anything that UC throws at them
Nebraska plays Cincinnati tonight, kickoff at 8 pm, it will be televised by ESPN.
