(Stanton) —A bridge construction project continues on Highway 34 between County Road H34 and County Road M63, just outside of Stanton.
According to the Iowa Department of Transportation District Planner Scott Suhr, the project includes lane restrictions, temporary traffic lights, and size limits for vehicles. The height limit is set at 15 feet, while the width limit is restricted to 11 feet.
Work is expected to continue until October 9, 2025, with construction scheduled daily until about 7:00 p.m. CDT.
Drivers traveling through the area are advised to allow extra time, follow posted detours if needed, and use caution when approaching the work zone.
