(Lincoln, NE) — Nebraska Quarterback Dylan Raiola says he is in the best shape of his football career and is ready to begin his Sophomore season. That’s good news for Husker fans after a decent freshman season — Raiola threw for 2,819 yards last year which only ranked 43rd in the country and 7th in the Big Ten but he was the only freshman to play all season in the conference. Raiola says he is improved this year because he has a better grasp of the offense
Nebraska Offensive Coordinator Dana Holgorsen says that Raiola is making throws in practice the likes he has never seen before but Raiola says its not all about him
Raiola met with the media on Friday and he opened by saying he is looking forward to November 1st against USC when the Huskers will take the field in new all black uniforms
Nebraska opens their season Thursday, August 28th against Cincinnati in Kansas City.
