(Council Bluffs, IA) — Another Iowa state representative is announcing a challenge to Joni Ernst.
Josh Turek of Council Bluffs joins a crowded Democratic primary field for the U.S. Senate seat next year. He joins former radio journalist Nathan Sage of Indianola, state Senator Zach Wahls of Coralville, state Representative J.D. Scholten of Sioux City, and former teacher and Des Moines School Board member Jackie Norris.
Turek carried his Council Bluffs legislative district in back-to-back elections.
