(Des Moines) The National Weather Service calls says storm chances are forecast for Sunday night into early Monday, Monday afternoon, and Monday evening. Widespread rainfall of one-to-two inches are possible with the highest amounts towards southern Iowa. Large hail, and gusty winds are the primary severe weather threats. Locally heavy rain may extend into Tuesday mainly south of Interstate 80.
