Sherry Honnold, 71, of Macksburg passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Funeral Services: Will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Greenfield United Methodist Church with a luncheon immediately following. Burial will at the Winterset Cemetery in Winterset, Iowa, following the luncheon. The Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements. Open Visitation: Will be held at the Greenfield United Methodist Church on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Greenfield United Methodist Church.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family going towards the Nodaway Valley Junior High Wrestling Program, they may be mailed to Lamb Funeral Home, PO Box 390, Greenfield, Iowa, 50849.
Survivors: She is survived by her husband, Paul Honnold of Macksburg; three sons, Brad Honnold (Sara) of Greenfield, Brian Honnold (Beth) of Ames and BJ Honnold (Whitney) of Adel; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Gary Latimer (Janet) of Lincoln, Nebraska and Larry Latimer (Deb) of Topeka, Kansas; sister, Mary Holbrook of Tuscon, Arizona; mother-in-law, Edna Honnold of Winterset; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
