(Atlantic) Atlantic Athletic Director Andy Mitchell announced that the girls’ and boys’ basketball doubleheader, originally set to take place in Atlantic, has been moved to Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines on February 11. The boys’ game will tip off at 3:45 p.m., followed by the girls’ game at 5:15 p.m.
“This is a great opportunity for players from both schools, and we hope fans can adjust their schedules to support them,” said Mitchell.
The matchup between Atlantic and Harlan Community is part of the Iowa Wolves High School Hoops Series. Tickets for the event are $10, with children two and under admitted free. Wells Fargo Arena enforces a clear bag policy.
