(Ankeny) Maggie Muller received the prestigious “Winds of Change Up and Comer” award at the 18th annual Iowa Women in Agriculture conference on August 1 in Ankeny. Deb Schuler, past president, and Ross Havens nominated Maggie for this award for being a positive role model to other agricultural women who break down barriers and influence their community early in their careers.
Maggie and her husband, Kelly, are a sixth-generation farm family raising grain and livestock in Noble Township in Griswold, Iowa. They have four children: Clara, Lucy, Isabelle, and Vivian. Additionally, Muller owns and operates Noble Provisions, providing high-quality, locally-raised meat directly to family, friends, neighbors, and the community.
Iowa Women in Agriculture is a non-profit organization established in 2005 to support women farmers, landowners, and agribusiness professionals. We assist women in enhancing their expertise, skills, and knowledge and expanding their community connections to achieve their financial potential and contribute to the agricultural community they love. We are governed by a volunteer board of directors who plan and execute all aspects of our programs and services, including our annual conference.
