(Ames, IA) – The University of Iowa State has released its non-conference football schedule times and full schedule for the 2024-25 football season along with the start times for every game that was announced by the Big XII on Thursday afternoon.
Iowa State will open up the season against one of the top teams in the FCS last season North Dakota on August 31st at 2:30 p.m. at home for the 50th season at Jack Trice Stadium and the first meeting against North Dakota. They’ll follow that same with a matchup against Iowa for the Cy-Hawk Series on September 7th at 2:30 p.m. that will be broadcast on national television on CBS. This marks the first nationally televised game since the 1971 Sun Bowl against LSU. They’ll hit an early bye week and wrap up non-conference action against Arkansas State on September 21st and will kickoff that game at 1:00 p.m.
The Cyclones return multiple key pieces to the success that they saw last season with Freshman of the Year quarterback Rocco Becht, All-Big XII Second Team selection Jayline Noel, and All-Big XII Honorable Mention Jayden Higgins.
