(Audubon, IA) – The Audubon Wheelers boy’s tennis team was not able to capture a win on Tuesday after falling to Red Oak 8-1.
Carson Matthews earned a big win after defeating Landon Gigstad in an 8-1 match as the only singles match for the Wheelers on the day. The other tight match was between Issac Jackson and Red Oak’s Mex DeVries as DeVries was able to take the win 8-5 after constantly going back and forth all match.
Head Coach Maryssa Soder was happy to see the performance of her boys with great court movement and communication. She said, “Each has a strong front and back player. There are just things we are still working on here!”
