Barbara Acker, 88, of Greenfield passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the Greenfield Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the Greenfield United Methodist Church. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church. The burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery near Van Meter, Iowa on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Pastor Melinda Stonebraker will officiate the service. Open Visitation will be held at the Greenfield United Methodist Church on Thursday, February 20, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, February 20, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Greenfield United Methodist Church.
Memorials to the family are to be established at a later date.
She is survived by her three children, Chris Acker of Creston, Kim Coe of Greenfield, and Dale Acker of Greenfield; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
