(West Des Moines) The Atlantic High School and Middle School Archery teams finished second in the Bullseye Competition at the 13th Annual Tiger Archery Coach Tammy Zenti Memorial Tournament. The Atlantic High School Squad finished second in the West Des Moines 6th Annual Coach Cheryl McConnell 3D Challenge; the Atlantic Middle School Team won the 3D Challenge.
The top ten Atlantic Shooters in each division are posted below:
Grant Petty fired an impressive 291 to capture the individual title in the boy’s division for Atlantic. The Trojan girls claimed the top three spots in the girl’s competition. Elynor Brummer, first, 282, Belle Berg, second, 280, and Kaylee Stetzel, ninth, with a 271.
Petty won the individual title in 3D with a 296, and Kyler Edie finished eighth with a 277. Lily Johnson claimed the second-place spot in the girls’ division with a 282.
The Atlantic Middle School Team won the 3D Tournament with a total score of 1602. Ryan Hackwell finished third with a 275, Wyatt Hoover finished eighth with a 270, and Zane Welch was ninth with a score of 269.
The Middle School team finished second in the Bullseye Tournament. Hoover was sixth with a 279. In the girls’ division, Rylan Martin finished second with a score of 272.
