Two Hurt in Floyd County Crash

(Floyd County) Two people were injured in a head-on collision in Floyd County.

The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at around 11:00 p.m. on Saturday on eastbound Highway 18. Authorities identified the victims as 43-year-old Curtis Carr of Osage, Iowa, and 18-year-old Lilly Moen of Rockford, Iowa.

According to the report, Carr was driving a 2004 Chevy Silverado pickup westbound in the eastbound lanes on Highway 18 and collided head-on with an eastbound 2017 Nissan Rogue driven by Moen.

AMR transported both drivers to Mercy One North Hospital with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation
