Funeral services for 83-year-old Edwin “Ed” Ortgies will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 15th at Roland Funeral Home. With military honors by the Atlantic Color Guard, Burial will be in the Atlantic Cemetery after refreshments and fellowship at the funeral home.
An open visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14th, at Roland Funeral Home.
Ed is survived by his sister, Mary (Rol) Platte of Omaha, NE, and brother, Tim (Kim) Ortgies of Atlantic, IA.
