(Atlantic) The Atlantic Boys’ basketball team returns to action tonight against Glenwood. The Rams topped the Trojans on December 1, 67-56. The Trojans are 3-6 on the season. Glenwood is 4-4. The Trojans ended the break with two straight wins over Shenandoah and Audubon. The Rams want to end a two-game skid after losses to Plattsmouth and Lewis Central.
Atlantic Head Coach Dalton Franken is looking for another physical game.
Nebraska baseball recruit Kayden Anderson, Point guard, leads the Rams, averaging 14 points per game.
Coach Franken is pleased with the practice session over the break. He says everyone came to work, and they were able to insert some new wrinkles.
Atlantic senior Colton Rasmussen has scored 230 points through the first nine games of the season for a 25-point per-game average. Sophomore Gavin McLaren is averaging 14 points per contest.
This is the second game of this boy/girl doubleheader tonight, broadcast on 95.7 F.M. and live video streamed on westerniowatoday.com. The pre-game for the girls starts at 5:45. The tip-off is at 6:00 p.m., with the boy’s game to follow.
