(Lincoln, NE) – Two Nebraska Huskers announced on X, formally known as Twitter, that they are entering the NFL Draft. Both Anthony Grant and Marcus Washington are going to throw their hat into the ring for the NFL Draft.
Anthony Grant played in 15 total games for Nebraska while ending on the Huskers’ all-time rushing list with 1,328 yards. In 11 games this season, he led the team with 413 rushing yards on 104 carries and had three rushing touchdowns. He also helped Nebraska earn the second-best rushing offense in the Big Ten. The former Florida State and New Mexico Military Institute running back transferred to Nebraska in 2022.
Marcus Washington played in six games this season for Nebraska before he was injured in the game against Illinois. The senior had eight catches for 176 yards on the season before his injury. Overall, he had 1,013 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns for Nebraska. He also volunteered his time with the Nebraska Football Road Race and Thanksgiving hospital visits.
The 2024 NFL Draft will be held from Thursday, April 25th through Saturday, April 27th.
