(Atlantic) Atlantic looks to build on their 47-33-week one road win over Clarke, Osceola.
The Trojans piled up 483 total yards of offense: 291 on the ground and 192 in the air. Sophomore quarterback Zayden Parker was 7-9 passing for 192 yards, five touchdowns, and no interceptions. Atlantic Head Coach Joe Brummer says the offense moved the ball well but had the opportunity for more yards. He described the defense as a tale of two halves.
Coach Brummer said the offensive line played well last week and will be tested against a solid Glenwood team this week.
Some other bright spots for the Trojans were the running back and receiving duos. Receivers Kinnick Juhl and Xavier Darrow hauled in first-catch touchdowns of 55 and 70 yards, respectively, and Gavin McLaren and Dante Hedrington both rushed for over 100 yards.
Glenwood put up impressive numbers last week in a 28-24 win over Sioux City, East. Senior quarterback Kayden Anderson went 15/27 passing for 219 yards and one touchdown. Seven different players carried the football for 182 yards.
