(Atlantic) Atlantic Head Cross Country Coach Dan Vargason says his team’s performance at the opening meet at Glenwood is a positive start for his squads.
The girls finished third (66), close behind Glenwood (44) and Harlan (51).
Claire Pellett finished fourth overall, and Belle Berg tenth. Katrina Williams posted a solid performance with a 14th placing, Megan Birge 22nd, Hailey Huffman 24th, Mariah Huffman 29th, and Faith Altman 32nd.
The boys’ team finished fourth overall, led by Alex Sonntag’s, ninth place finish; Bennett Whetstone, 12th; Devon Fields, 21st; Tyrell Williams, 24th; Braden Spurr, 26th; Vincent Meisinger, 30th; and Christian Thompson, 45th.
