(Atlantic) The Atlantic Community School District Booster Club’s annual golf tournament at Nishna Hills Golf Course raised over $20,000.
Atlantic Booster Club President Brian Wagner says the proceeds from the tournament went towards the new shed at the high school tennis courts.
This year’s tournament boasted 32 teams, 38-hole sponsors, seven corporate sponsors, and multiple volunteers.
The 2023 Booster Club Golf Tournament corporate sponsors included Meredith Communications (KSOM/KS95), Duke Rentals, Brocker Karns and Karns, Rolling Hills Bank and Trust, Olsen Fuel Supply, A.M. Cohron and Son, Mutual of Omaha-Stuart Dusenberry, and State Farm Insurance-Megan Roberts.
Megan Roberts, ACSD Booster Club Scheduler, said the partnership with Beth Johnsen, ACSD Superintendent, and Lisa Jones, ACSD SBO, began at the tournament, with both fully supporting the event.
The 2024 ACSD Booster Club golf tournament is scheduled for Friday, July 19th, at the Atlantic Golf and Country Club.
Your ACSD Booster Club holds monthly meetings in the Atlantic High School media center on the third Monday at 630pm.
