(Sacramento, California) Former Atlantic star and University of Iowa Track and Field Standout Gratt Reed qualified in two events for the Division I NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas.
Reed qualified in the 110 Meter Hurdles in 13.69 and is a member of the 4×100-meter relay team that ran the fifth fastest time (39.19) in program history to move on to the next round. Reed joins Kalen Walker, Austin Kresley, and DeAndre Stapleton Jr.
The Hawkeyes also qualified in the 4×400 Meter Relay, Auston Kresley in the 200 meters (20.35), senior James Carter Jr. in the triple jump ( (51’ 8.25”), and Gillum in the 400 hurdles (50.40).
The 2023 Division I outdoor track and field championships will be held at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas, June 7 through June 10.
