(Atlantic) Riverside captured the team title at the Lady Tiger Relays at Woodbine last night with 131 points. Atlantic finished second with 108.
For Atlantic, Mariah Huffman won the 400 Meters in 1:02.77, Aubrey Guyer topped the field in the 800 Meters in a time of 2:38.62, and Jayci Reed raced to victory in the 100 Meter Hurdles in a time of 16.30. The quad of Hailey Huffman, Lila Wiederstein, Nicole Middents, and Jayci Reed ran second in the 4×100 Meter relay in a time of 51.41. The foursome of Morgan Botos, Chloe Mullenix, Claire Pellett, and Ava Rush ran second in the 4×200 Meter Relay in a time of 1:49.13. Lila Wiederstein won the Long Jump with a 15-07.50 effort, and Abbi Richter placed second in the discus with a throw of 104-00.
For Riverside, Veronica Andrusyshn and Lydia Erickson finished first and second in the 100 Meters in 13.08 and 13.19. Olivia Lund championed the field in the 200 Meters in 27.92. Riverside earned gold in the 4×100 Relay in 51.17, with Andrusyshn, Gordon, Henderson, and Erickson on the carry. Andrusyshn, Carly Henderson, Elly Henderson, and Lydia Erickson won the 4×200 Meter Relay in a time of 1:47.82. The quad of Emma Gordon, Lili McCready, Elly Henderson, and Carly Henderson won the 800 Sprint Medley in 1:57.16. The 4×800 Meter Relay team of Veronic Schechinger, Bailey Richardson, and Amaiya Less won in a time of 10:32.52, and the Distance Medley Relay team of Emma Gordon, Olivia Lund, Veronica Schechinger, and Bailey Richardson finished second (4:41.72).
Alyssa Kulesa of Treynor won the 1500 Meters in a time of 5:22.15. Adyson Lapel of Woodbine won the 3000 Meters in a time of 11:39.31. Lauren Malone of Boyer Valley outran the field in the 400 Meter Hurdles in a time of 1:10.09, Woodbine won the 4×400 Meter Relay in 4:21.58 and Distance Medley in 4:29.10, and Ar-We-Va won the Shuttle Hurdle Relay in 1:10.92.
Maya Zappia of Missouri Valley heaved the discus 109-09 for the win, Jadyn Huisman of Treynor tossed the Shot Put 34-02.50 for the title, and Kylie Neligh of Woodbine won the High Jump clearing 4-10.00.
