(Atlantic) Former Atlantic standout Anna Lowary signed a national letter of intent to compete on the UNO Swim Team this fall. Lowary competed for three years at Midland University in Nebraska and has two years of eligibility left, one being the COVID year.
She has made her mark on the program in three years of competing at Midlands. Lowary was a three-time National qualifier, set four individual school records and numerous relay records, and won four individual Conference titles. Lowary will train for the distance races and a shorter opportunity in the 200. Lowery says she is looking forward to the new competition.
Anna Lowary is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology after completing some undergraduate studies with a minor in sign language.
