No social media For Iowa Minors, Proposal Fines Companies $1K Per Violation

(Des Moines) An Iowa House proposal would ban social media companies from letting Iowans younger than 18 have their account and fine any company one-thousand dollars for each violation. The proposal also gives the state attorney general power to take civil action against a social media company.
