(West Des Moines) The Atlantic Archery teams wrapped up the regular season on Saturday at the 12th Annual Tiger Archery Bullseye-Coach Tammi Zenti Memorial at West Des Moines-Valley High School.
Atlantic placed three in the top ten and finished second overall with a 3275. Hank Roberts finished fourth in the boy’s division with a 286, and Conner Johnson was sixth with a 281. Lily Johnson was fourth in the girl’s division, scoring 276.
The Atlantic Middle School Shooters finished first in the Bullseye Tournament with a 3131. Grant Petty topped the field of individuals with a 287, and Michael Hocamp shot a 269 and finished sixth overall. Lily Wilrich shot a 266 and finished ninth.
The Atlantic High School and Middle School Teams each won team titles in the 3D Tournament.
The high school shooters shot 1675, led by Halle Copeland’s first-place score of 284 in the girl’s division. Mariah Hadley finished second, 283, and Lily Johnson third, 277. Quincy Sorensen shot a 263 and finished with eighth, Carter Smith shot a 279 and finished second in the boy’s division, Conner Johnson was eighth with a 276, and Hank Roberts, ninth with a 276.
The Atlantic Middle School Shooters won the team title with 1575, one point ahead of second place Nodaway Valley. Petty finished third with a 273, Hocamp, sixth, 266, Zane Welch and Wyatt Hoover shot 259s, and eighth and ninth. Rylan Martin led the girl’s squad with a second-place 258, Lily Wilrich was seventh with a 256, and Paislee Klever was tenth with a 253.
