-Morningside won their first round playoff game 35-18 against Arizona Christian. Will play Keiser in the quarterfinals on November 26th.
Raydden Grobe, Freshman, Bellevue, Basketball
-Bellevue beat Indiana Northwest 93-87 in 2 OT on Friday. Grobe started and played 30 minutes. He posted 4 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block.
-The Bears topped Cardinal Stritch 83-74 on Saturday. Grobe started and scored 9 points along with 1 rebound, 1 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block in 27 minutes.
Kailey Jones, Sophomore, Luther, Basketball
-Luther defeated Wisconsin-Platteville 62-56 on Tuesday. Jones had 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 assist.
-On Friday they fell to Wisconsin-Stout 60-57. Jones contributed 9 points and 11 rebounds.
-Luther beat Cornell 44-43 on Sunday. Jones had 4 points and 9 rebounds.

-Simpson won 40-12 in a dual against Iowa Wesleyan on Wednesday. Weave won by forfeit.
-Weaver went 2-3 at the Coe Open to place 6th.

-Swam on Midland’s 9th place 200 Free Relay, 9th in the 400 Free Relay, 11th place 200 Medley Relay, and 8th place 800 Free Relay at the Phoenix Fall Classic. Placed 13th in the 500 Freestyle, 7th in the 1650 Freestyle, and 16th in the 200 Freestyle.
-Named a Midland Who’s Who award winner for academic and athletic success.

-Posted four pins and earned 4th place in the Freshman/Sophomore Division at 197 pounds the Life University Open.

-ICCC beat William Penn JV 67-48 on Tuesday. Grooms had three points and two rebounds.
-On Friday they beat Elgin Community College 66-35. Grooms went 5/8 from the field with 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists.
-Iowa Central defeated Highland Community College on Saturday 55-47. Grooms went for 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 block.

-Finished 3-2 at the Younes Holiday Open with two decision wins and a tech fall.
Haley Rasmussen, Sophomore, Basketball and Track, Simpson
-Simpson dropped a 76-73 decision on Wednesday to Gustavus Adolphus. Rasmussen went 3/6 from 3-point range, finishing with 9 points and 2 assists
-On Saturday the Storm defeated Wisconsin-Superior 77-70. Rasmussen led the team in scoring with 22 points. She was 4/8 from 3-point range and 6/8 at the free-throw line. Rasmussen added two rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
