(West Des Moines, IA) A 600-million-dollar proposed development could bring an indoor water park to West Des Moines. The Grand Experience will be a 100-thousand-square-foot water park and a hotel will be built on Grand Avenue west of Interstate 35. The developers say the water park will be a Wisconsin Dells-style Park and bring more than one-thousand jobs to the area. Groundbreaking is set for late 2023, with opening day scheduled for the summer of 2025.
