(Creston) Creston Police were busy this weekend. Officers arrested eight people.
On Friday:
Creston Police arrested 46-year-old Joseph W Harrison, of Creston, at 207 E Montgomery, and charged him with Assault on Persons in Certain Occupations-Bodily Injury and Interference with Official Acts resulting in Bodily injury. Police transported Harrison to the Union County Jail, where he later posted a $3000 cash or surety bond.
Police arrested 26-year-old Kenneth Quienten Weaselhead of Creston at 207 E Montgomery. Police charged Weaselhead with Disorderly Conduct-Fighting/Violent Behavior. Authorities transported Weaselhead to the Union County Jail, where he was released on a $300 cash or surety bond.
On Sunday:
Creston Police arrested 24-year-old Ashley Dawn Eblen, of Creston, at her residence for Possession of Controlled Substance-2nd Offense, Interference with Official Acts, and Disorderly Conduct. Officers transported Eblen to the Clarke County Jail in Osceola, where she was released on her own recognizance after being seen by the Magistrate.
Police arrested 33-year-old Tyler James Hicks of Creston at Howard and Elm. Authorities charged Hicks with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and transported him to the Union County Jail, where he was released on a $300 cash or surety bond.
Creston Police arrested 45-year-old Travis Quinn Wambold of Fontanelle at Howard and Elm for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Police transported Wambold to the Union County Jail, where he was released on a $300 cash or surety bond.
Creston Police arrested 28-year-old Bethanylyn Reva Brown of Creston at the 700 block N Vine for Violation of No Contact/Protective Order. Officers transported Brown to the Adams County Jail in Corning. Additionally, Police arrested 39-year-old Joseph Dean Baze-Gaiser of Creston at this location and charged him with  Violation of No Contact/Protective Order and Possession of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana, 1st Offense. Baze-Gaiser is being held in the Union County Jail on no bond.
Creston Police arrested 29-year-old Hayley Joan Vandel, 29, of Creston, for Driving while Suspended. Police transported her to the Union County Jail, where she was released on a $300 cash or surety bond.
