(Audubon) Audubon and Coon-Rapids-Bayard square off in 8-player District 10 action on Friday night. The Wheelers, Coon Rapids-Bayard, and CAM are currently tied for second place, each with one loss in the district.
Audubon Head Coach Sean Birks says this is a big game for both squads.
Coach Birks says C-R-B does an excellent job of running to set up the pass. The Crusaders have rushed for 1,413 yards up to this point in the season.
Lance Clayberg is C-R-B’s leading rusher with 91 carries for 663 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Audubon is 2-4 on the season, but the 2-1 District record is what really counts, and the Wheelers are certainly in the hunt for a District title.
Like Coon Rapids-Bayard, the Wheelers bring a solid rushing attack to Friday’s game with 1,064 yards, led by Aaron Olsen’s 142 carries for 571 yards and 12 touchdowns.
