The Cougars scored ten runs in the 3rd and improve to 24-2. Lane Spieker needed 62 pitches to get through 3 1/2 innings with three hits, three walks, one earned run, and eight strikeouts. Joe Kauffman tossed an inning and 2/3 with no hits, one hit batter, no walks, and four strikeouts. Kauffman drove in three runs on two hits. Colby Rich had three hits and two RBI. Chase Spiker posted two RBI. Lanei Spieker had two hits and drove in a run.

Cash Turner had each of Griswold’s hits. Kolbe Klindt and Brayden Lockwood each stole a base for the Tigers.

The Bulldogs fell behind 6-0 in the 1st inning. Aiden Bell and Kyler Rieken had the lone hits for Riverside with Rieken driving in Grady Jeppesen in the 6th inning for the only run. Jeppesen allowed four hits and one earned run over six innings with one walk and seven strikeouts.
