(Atlantic) Belle Berg and Lexi Noelck led Atlantic to a 187-227 win over Clarinda in a girl’s golf dual on Thursday at the Nishna Hills Golf Course in Atlantic.
Berg medaled with a 44, and Noelck carded a 47 for runner-up honors. Abby Smith and Abby Muller shot 48’s, Reagan Leonard, 52, and Nissa Molgaard, 55. Berg had one birdie and two pars, and Leonard, Noelck, Smith, and Muller had pars.
“I am excited with the team’s play, considering this is our second outing, ” said Head Coach Kathy Hobson. “The goal today was to shoot under 200, and four scores in the forties and six scores within twelve strokes is a positive. Nissa Molgaard is showing a lot of progress as well.”
