(Council Bluffs) Glenwood scored 122-points and won the team title in the Girl’s Division at the 2022 Titan COED Relays at Lewis Central on Tuesday. Sioux City, East finished second, 97.00, Treynor, Third, 84.00, Underwood, fourth, 80.00, and Harlan finished fifth with 68.50 points out of 14-teams.
Eliana Harris of Sioux City, East won the 100 and 200 Meters in times of (12.78), and (26.57). Abby LaSale, of Council Bluffs, Abraham Lincoln topped the field in the 400 Meters in a time of (1:01.68), and 400 Meter Hurdles in (1:07.99). Kia Downs of Sioux City, East won the 800 Meters in (2:19.06), Kia Bieker, of Harlan, ran second in (2:21.20), Aliyah Humphrey of Underwood finished third, (2:27.41), and Ava Rush of Atlantic, fourth, in (2:30.49). Downs also won the 1500 Meters in (5:11.07), Lindsey Sonderman, of Harlan, second, (5:24.55), and Claire Pellett of Atlantic finished third in a time of (5:27.95). Sonderman, of Harlan won the 3,000 Meters in (11:34.67).
In the Relays; Sioux City, East won the 4×100, (51.22), and 4×200 in (1:48.74). Sioux City West won the 4×400 Meter Relay, (4:15.30), and 800 Sprint Medley, (1:56.00). Harlan won the 4×800, (10:24.16), Atlantic won the Distance Medley, (4:30.29), and Underwood won the Shuttle Hurdle Relay in (1:10.54).
In the field events; Elise Thramer of Lewis Central won the Discus with a heave of (129-02), and the Shot Put with a toss of (38-07.00). Alizabeth Jacobsen of Underwood won the High Jump, (5-01.00), and Holly Duax of Sioux City, West won the Long Jump with an impressive, (18-06.50) effort.
