(Shelby Co.) Three people were arrested on drug charges in Shelby County.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office says Isaaias Baltazar-Delgadillo, 30, of Denison, was arrested after a traffic stop on Highway 191 on March 25th. Baltazar-Delgadillo was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Operating Non-Registered Vehicle, and Speeding.
Rene Bernal-Salas, 18, of Denison, was arrested after a traffic stop at Highway 59 and 1200th Street on March 26th. Bernal-Salas was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with OWI, Prohibited Acts, Possession of Controlled Substance, Minor in Possession of Alcohol, Speeding, Driving while under Suspension, and Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.
Maria Rosa Lara Salazar, 20, of Council Bluffs, was arrested following a traffic stop at Highway 59 and 1200th Street on March 26th. Lara Salazar was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and Minor in Possession of Alcohol.
In other activity, Jason David Bengford, 37, of Defiance, was arrested after a call for service in Defiance on March 23rd. Bengford was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Domestic Abuse Assault.
Joshua William Cox, 39, of Harlan, was arrested following a traffic stop at 10th Street and Pine Street on March 27th. Cox was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Operating while under the Influence, and Driving while License Denied or Revoked.
