(Dubuque, IA) A sting operation in Dubuque targeting human trafficking through prostitution has snared a local elected official. K-C-R-G T-V reports that Dubuque County Treasurer Randy Wedewer is one of eleven men arrested for solicitation of prostitution during the two-day operation. According to court documents, undercover agents posted ads on social media sites offering sexual services for money and provided a location to those that answered the ad. Additional charges for those arrested are possible.
