(Atlantic) The Cass County Conference Board will meet late Thursday afternoon to reaffirm the appointment of Mary Anstey to a six-year term as County Assessor. The term begins on January 1, 2022.
The Conference Board already approved the appointment, and a letter was sent to the Iowa Department of Revenue. However, before such appointment can be made, Anstey needed to complete continuing education, which she has completed, so the board can make the appointment “official.”
The Conference Board will also decide on health insurance coverage of a former employee.
The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in the courtroom at the Cass County Courthouse.
