(Council Bluffs) The Criminal Investigation Division is investigating a shooting in Council Bluffs.
Council Bluffs Police responded to the call at around 1:39 a.m. this morning at the American Inn at 2717 South 24th Street and found a 40-year old female victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The Council Bluffs Fire Department transported the woman to a local hospital for treatment.
Police say it appears the suspect’s vehicle is a newer four-door silver Hyundai Sonata. Witnesses stated there were three Hispanic males and a female in the suspect’s vehicle at the shooting. Currently, it’s unknown if the victim knew the suspects and where they fled after the incident.
