(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Nodaway, Iowa woman following a single-vehicle accident near Stanton.
Deputies responded to the call at around 9:58 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 34, just east of Stanton. Officers arrested the driver and owner of the vehicle, identified as Caitlyn M. Bressler, for OWI, 2nd Offense. Deputies transported Bressler to the Montgomery County Jail and held her on a $1,000 bond.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office located a vehicle late Wednesday night stopped at Evergreen and Highway 34. The man, later identified as Billy Lyn Leeper of Red Oak, was asleep at the wheel. Deputies smelled alcohol coming from the vehicle and found probable cause to arrest him for OWI. Deputies transported Leeper to the Montgomery County Jail on a charge of OWI, 3rd Offense, and held him on a $5,000.00 bond.
