(Avoca) AHSTW School Superintendent Darin Jones announced today that due to an outbreak of COVID-19 within the school staff they will be delaying the start of the school year until Monday, August 30th. Classes were set to begin Tuesday.
Jones stated that tracing measures have found that students at the K-12 levels had not had the same level of exposure. This will allow activities to continue as planned.
