(Greenfield) The Adair County Sheriff’s issued a summons for 38-year old Tim Lee Wambold Jr. of Fontanelle on theft, 2nd, and first offense trespassing charges. Law enforcement and fire and rescue responded to a call of an individual stuck in the field and needing assistance. When they arrived, the property owner requested law enforcement press charges on Wambold sitting on an ATV stuck in the ditch. Authorities subsequently learned the ATV was stolen from Washita County, Oklahoma. Wambold told authorities he purchased the machine from a man in Bridgewater approximately two years ago.
In a separate case, deputies arrested 26-year old Taylor Marie Turnbull early Friday morning stemming from a traffic stop on Highway 92 for speeding. Deputies subsequently arrested Turnbull for OWI. Turnbull’s alcohol content exceeded the legal limit. Authorities issued her a citation and released her.
