(Corning) The Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Montgomery County man on four warrants for sexual abuse. Authorities on July 22 arrested 74-year old David Charles Crawford of Villisca with 3rd-degree sex abuse, lascivious acts with a child, enticing a minor under 13, all Class C felonies, and indecent contact with a child. Officers transported Crawford to the Adams County Jail and held him on no bond until he appeared in front of a magistrate judge.
In other news from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office: 34-year old Sunita Joann Phipps of Creston faces charges of 5th-degree theft. Authorities transported Phipps to the Adams County Jail following her arrest on July 25 and held her $300.00 b0nd.
*On July 16, Adams County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 34 and Adams/Montgomery. The investigation led to the arrest of Lyndon Bright for driving with a suspended license and open container.
*On July 17, Adams County Deputies arrested Paige O’neall of Creston and Cadon Cornelison of Creston for simple assault following an argument at the Adams County Speedway. Officers transported Cornelison and O’neall to the Adams County Jail and held them on no bond until the magistrate could see them.
*On July 17, Adams County Deputies arrested 36-year old Fidel Anastacio Amaya Contarero of Tampa, Florida, on one count of Child Endangerment. , In addition to that charge, deputies cited him with no valid driver’s license, speeding, and failure to use a child restraining device. Deputies transported Contarero to the Adams County Jail, where he later posted bond.
*On July 19, Adams County Deputies arrested Jason Alexander Rahn for indecent contact with a child. Deputies booked him into the Adams County Jail and initially held him on no bond until a magistrate could see him.
*On July 19, Adams County Deputies arrested Edwin Scott Blazek for 3rd-degree harassment. Deputies booked Blazek into the Adams County Jail and held him on no until his initial appearance in front of a magistrate.
*On July 19, Adams County Deputies arrested Jesse Beaman of Red Oak on a warrant for a parole violation. Authorities transported him to the Adams County Jail and initially held him on no bond until the magistrate could see him.
*On July 20, Adams County Deputies arrested Michael John Wray for failure to appear. Deputies booked Wray in the Adams County Jail and held him on a $6,000 bond.
