(Mills Co.) Four people were arrested on drug charges in Mills County.
The Mills County Sheriff’s Office says Hta Dee, 35, Has Ger Htoo, 36, Ler Lar Shee, 24, and Pi La, 39, all of Omaha, Nebraska, were each charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. All four individuals were held on $1,300 bond each.
The Sheriff’s Office also arrested Monta Arnell Johnson Jr., 21, of Glenwood, for Domestic Abuse Assault and Child Endangerment. Johnson was held on no bond.
Two people suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Mills County on Friday.
The Mills County Sheriff’s Office says Arthur Saucier, 33, of Bellevue, Nebraska, was driving a 2021 MAC side-dump dirt hauler west on Bunge Avenue and slowed to turn left onto an un-named dirt road used for construction purposes. Saucier said he slowed and activated his turn signal. Timothy Charon, 59, of Emerson, was driving a 2019 Subaru west on Bunge Avenue behind Saucier. Charon began to pass Saucier as he was making the left turn. The front of the Subaru collided with the side/front of the MAC. The Subaru entered the south ditch, continued west and collided with a construction fence. The MAC entered the south ditch and continued south.
Charon stated that Saucier activated the turn signal after Charon was in the process of passing.
