Western Iowa Conference Baseball and Softball Tournaments Scheduled for next Week

(Area) The Western Iowa Conference Baseball and Softball Tournaments are slated for next week. Conference officials released the brackets on Friday.

The Baseball Tournament starts on Monday with a play-in game between 8^th seed IKM/Manning and 9^th seed Riverside at Tri-Center. The winner plays the top-seeded Tri-Center in the nightcap.

Fourth seed Logan-Magnolia and fifth seed Missouri Valley square off at 5:30 in two games at Underwood. Second-seeded Underwood matches up against 7^th seed AHSTW.

Third-seeded Treynor plays 6^th seed Audubon at 7:00 p.m. at Treynor on Monday.

Underwood hosts the semifinals on Wednesday and the finals on Friday.

The softball tournament starts on Tuesday. Eighth-seeded Tri-Center matches up against 9^th seed IKM/Manning at 5:30 p.m. at Underwood. The winner plays top seed Underwood in the nightcap.

Riverside, the fourth seed, plays fifth seed Audubon at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Logan-Magnolia. This game will be followed by number 2 seed Logan-Magnolia and 7^th seed Missouri Valley.

The semi-finals and finals will be played on Thursday at Underwood.
