Atlantic Police Arrest Report and update on Wednesday’s accidents

(Atlantic) The Atlantic Police Department released more information on two accidents that occurred on Wednesday.

The first accident occurred at 1307 SW 7^th Street at 5:10 p.m. Estuardo Lam, of Atlantic, was pulling out of the driveway at 1307 SW 7^th, entering the highway turning north. Lam pulled out in front of Travis Fletcher of Griswold. Fletcher was transported to Cass County Memorial Hospital to be checked out for non-life threatening injuries. Lam was transported by private vehicle to be checked out for non-life threatening injuries. Lam was charged with Failure to Yield thru Highway.

The second accident occurred at 7^th and Laurel Streets at 9:07 p.m. Onesimo Garcia, of Atlantic, was driving a motorcycle westbound in the 600 block of 7^th Street when he came unbalanced and tried to correct, but overcorrected and lost control of the motorcycle. Garcia was transported to Cass County Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

In other news, Nichole Price, 37, of Atlantic, was arrested June 24^th on a Cass County warrant for Domestic Abuse Assault. She was taken to the Cass County Jail and booked in.

James Erickson, 33, of Atlantic, was cited and released on June 20^th for Theft 5^th.
