(Atlantic) The Atlantic School Board approved resignations, as well as contract recommendations during their meeting on Tuesday.
The Board of Education approved the resignations of Stacie Schwaller, Assistant Technology Coordinator, and Derek Hall, 9th grade basketball coach. Hall has resigned from this position due to his selection as the Atlantic High School Varsity Basketball Coach.
The Board also approved contract recommendations for Rob Astuni, High School English/Language Arts Teacher, Rebecca Bird, Middle School Social Studies Teacher, and Jon Peterson, Middle School Language Arts Teacher. Contract Recommendation for Jesse McCann, High School Special Education Teacher and Assistant High School Wrestling Coach, was also approved, as well as Tom McLaren, Volunteer High School Baseball Coach.
The school board reviewed upcoming dates, including the IASB Fiscal Management Conference on July 21st.
The next regular Board Meeting is scheduled for July 14th at 6 p.m.
