Adair County Sheriff’s Report

(Adair Co.) The Adair County Sheriff’s Office arrested David Spencer Reeves, 34, of Earlham, on March 24^th for Conspiracy to Commit an Aggravated Misdemeanor, Tampering with a Witness or Juror, and Contempt – Violation of a No Contact Order.

According to the report, Reeves, an inmate at the Jail, communicated via texts messages with his brother Daniel Fritz Reeves, regarding a witness and their family. The two of them were conspiring to tell the victim that they could “drop their mouth” with information regarding illegal activity so that the victim would withdraw her statement against David Reeves. The victim provided a statement to Stuart Police regarding receiving a message from a Daniel Reeves. The message to the victim requested her to drop the charges or her photo will be sent to all stores in Des Moines stating she is a thief. Daniel Reeves also stated he called DHS regarding drug usage by various family members in the home and around children. David requested that Daniel reach out to the victim, which is also a violation of a no contact order via a 3^rd party.

David Reeves’ bond on the charges was set at $5,300 cash or surety.

The Adair County Sheriff’s Office also reports Joel William Blazek, 20, of Greenfield, was arrested March 21st on a warrant for Sexual Abuse 3rd Degree, Child Endangerment and Lascivious Acts with a Child. He was held on $1,000 cash only bond.

Shawn Jason Parmenter, 44, of Greenfield, was arrested March 24^th on an outside warrant. He was transported immediately to meet with a Union County Deputy.

Jodie Suzanne Walhovd, 52, of Adair, was arrested March 25^th on a warrant for three counts of Theft 1^st Degree and Dependent Adult Abuse – Exploitation over $100. Walhovd was held on $50,000 cash or surety bond.

Dianna Marie Ricketts, 52, of Bridgewater, was arrested March 25^th on warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ricketts was held on $10,000 cash or surety bond.

Whitney Lynn Smith, 43, of Greenfield, was arrested March 25^th on a warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance 2^nd Offense and Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana 2^nd Offense. Smith was held on $2,000 cash or surety bond.

Joseph Ryan Somori, 37, of Greenfield, was arrested March 25^th on warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana 1^st Offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine 1^st Offense, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance 1^st Offense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Somori was held on $4,300 cash or surety bond.

Lorie Jane Jungers, 59, of Bridgewater, was arrested March 26^th on warrants for Controlled Substance Violation, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1^st Offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance Cannabidiol 1^st Offense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Jungers was held on $10,000 cash or surety bond.

Tyler John Thielsen, 25, of Guthrie Center, was cited following a traffic stop on March 26^th for Driving While Barred.

Sarah Heather Mathiews, 42, was cited following a traffic stop on March 27^th for Operating While Intoxicated 1^st Offense.
