Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Report

(Council Bluffs) Three people were arrested on drug charges in Walnut.

The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office responded to 2101 Antique City Drive on February 28^th for a disturbance. After speaking with all parties, it was determined that no assault took place and it was discovered that the occupants of the vehicle had narcotics inside the vehicle. A Shelby County K9 was requested and indicated on the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and all three parties were taken into custody. Erica Joyce Laporto, 42, of Denver, Colorado, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) 1^st Offense, Prohibited Acts by Registrant – Unauthorized Manufacture or Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 1^st Offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Michael Laporto, 41, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) 1^st Offense and Possession of a Drug Paraphernalia. Jennifer Diane Reyes, 51, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

In other activity, Zachary James Martin, 23, of Council Bluffs, was arrested March 1^st for Sex Offender Registration Violation 1^st Offense.

Kevin Scott Waters, 44, was arrested February 25^th after Deputies responded to a semi overturned at the 27 mile marker of I-80. Waters was charged with Operating While Intoxicated First Offense.

Dakota William Ruby, 24, was arrested following a traffic stop on February 25^th. Ruby was charged with Driving While Barred – Habitual Offender.

An 8-year-old male was charged with Burglary 3^rd – Vehicle after Deputies were called to an address on Front Street in Neola on February 26^th for a burglary call.

Charles William Walker, 34, of Adair, was arrested following a traffic stop on February 26^th. Walker was found to have valid arrest warrants and a barred license.

Darby Leroy Durham, 59, was arrested February 27^th for Domestic Abuse Assault 2^nd Offense. The female victim suffered an apparent broken bone to her left arm and was transported to the hospital.

John Eric Blankenship, 45, was arrested February 28^th after Deputies observed a Jeep Wrangler in the median at mile marker one of Interstate 680. Blankenship was charged with Operating While Intoxicated First Offense.

Kevin Conant, 59, February 28^th after Deputies were called to an assist rescue call with a disoriented male who had driven off of the road. Conant was charged with Operating While Intoxicated First Offense.

Debra Sue Jacobsen, 56, was arrested February 27^th on a warrant for Operating While Intoxicated First Offense.

Nathaniel Robert Didamo, 31, was arrested February 26^th on a warrant for Violation of Probation.

Mark William Armstrong, 61, was arrested February 24^th on a warrant for Violation of Probation.

Jason Riley Lawton, 42, turned himself in on February 25^th on a warrant for Burglary 2^nd Degree.

Chad Gerald Fulsos, 39, was arrested February 26^th on a warrant for failing to pay child support.
